Cameron Davies is a Welsh rally driver and GT racer from Llandovery. Cameron started his motorsport career in rallying and has won three championships in his rallying career, winning the 2009 and 2010 F1000 British Junior Rally Championship and also the 2012 BTRDA Rally First Championship. In 2011 Davies became the youngest-ever works-backed rally driver with Chevrolet.
For the 2015 season Cameron Davies is making a switch from rallying to circuit racing b y competing in the SRCC Sports 2000 Championship. Cameron will be racing for Swansea based SVG Racing driving one of their open-top sports prototype GT race cars alongside team owner Tim Matthews.
It will be a tough learning curve for the 20-year old from Llandovery as he switches from gravel to tarmac, but he is confident that he will be able to fight for top-5 finishes and podiums throughout the season. In his first ever circuit race, Cameron raced his way onto the podium by finishing 3rd at the opening round of the 2015 season.

Reason for joining SVG: A great option to go circuit racing and learn race-craft with a competitive team.
Favourite Circuit: Donington Park, UK. Once drove a Chevrolet touring car around Donington and enjoyed it immensely.
Favourite Car: Ferrari 458 Italia.
Hobbies/Interests: Mountain biking, gym and anything with 4 wheels.
Favourite Food: Barbecue pulled pork burger.
Favourite Music: Dance music and 90’s old skool.
Aims for 2015: To learn race-craft and gain experience of circuit racing. Aiming for top 5 finishes and maybe podiums. Also to continue rallying and compete on Wales Rally GB.
