Davies Teams up with New Co-Driver Tomlinson for BRC
Cameron Davies Teams up with 24 year old Caron Tomlinson from North Wales. The Welsh pairing are going to compete in the British Rally Championship which consists of 7 rounds across UK, Ireland and Europe.
Here's a little about Caron's career to date as a co-driver.
First time I did my ever stage rally was the Cambrian in 2013 in the mighty escort Mk 2, got asked to do it with my friend's dad as he was struggling to get someone.
After my first rally which I really enjoyed doing i wanted to do more, so did a few with Gareth and then I went out in social media to try and look for different driver's, did find a lad that was looking for someone to do a season with which was James Watkins from Welshpool, running in the rally first class 1400cc,
After few events together we won a couple and we broke down on some,
After that I did all kinds of rallying, single venues,Tarmac and still the gravel rally,
And did a few with different drivers,
But my big success to date is winning the silver star championship in the BTRDA series with Gavin Edwards which is the son of Gareth which I did my first ever stage rally with.
Got asked by Gavin to do the Cambrian rally in 2016 and it all started from there to do the full championship,
He wanted someone reliable and pretty good so he tried me and I was asked to stay onboard, which was a good sign that I must be doing ok.
After all of that I wanted to progress into doing international events, which at the time Cameron was looking for a co-driver, so I stepped in and now we are doing the BRC In a Peugeot 208 R2 junior class. Caron is welcomed into #TEAMCAMERON and hope every success for 2017.
